We have two shared washrooms and showers at the Paddlers Inn. As we are an old building, no ensuite washrooms are available.

We ask that you limit your washroom time in the morning to be considerate of other guests.

All our rooms are non-smoking.

Shared Facilities & Amenities

Due to the age of the building the rooms are small, quaint and simple downtown accommodation.
We offer a communal kitchen which is suitable for light meal preparation (not suitable for cooking a Thanksgiving Turkey).
The Paddler’s Inn has two shared washrooms and showers (each separate washroom is single occupancy). There are no ensuite washrooms.
We have fans in the room but no air conditioning.
We do not offer televisions, phones or alarm clocks in the rooms.
The downstairs has a deck which can be used after hours for meals or to take in the sunset.
You need to go up a flight of stairs to access the Inn rooms

Minimum Stay

A two night minimum stay for advanced bookings.

One night stays may be opened based on availability upto 30days prior to booking date.

Check In & Check Out Times

Check In Time is 3:00pm to 11pm
Check Out Time is 11:00am.
Check in at booking office inside the store.
If arriving after store closes use after hours numbers.

Cancellations & Refunds

Guests require a valid credit card number to stay at the Paddler’s Inn.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at time of booking. Balance of 50% due one day prior to booking start date.
Cancellations made within one day of booking will be charged full price of booking.
Date or room transfers can be made upto 3 days before stay based on availability. Must adhere to same night stay as original booking and will be charged for any difference in price.

Age Limits

Due to the shared space and thin walls the Inn is not suitable for children.
Minimum age for inn guests is 19 years old.

Noise Policy

The walls are thin, so in consideration of other guests we ask visitors to be aware of noise between 9pm – 8am.
Streetside rooms are subject to late night music & noise from the local establishments. We provide ear plugs if needed but it is part of the fun staying in downtown Tofino.

Smoking Policy

Smoking or vaping of any substance is prohibited in the Inn or on the property. Please smoke at least 20metres from any window or entrance. There are smoking benches located at end of street.

Pet Policy

We love animals, but unfortunately we are not able to accommodate your pets at the inn.

After Hours Arrival

We accept check ins until 11pm.
Please inform us of your approximate arrival time if it will be after front desk hours: We are open 9pm-5pm(off-season) and 8:30am-6pm (Peak-Season June -Sept)

Le responsable John nous a accueilli avec le plus grand sourire. Super aimable et chaleureux. L’hébergement est authentique et invitant. Les chambres/salles de bain et cuisine sont propre. La vue est magnifique. Nous allons définitivement y retourner.

Wonderful inn on the Tofino waterfront just steps from the water taxi to Meares Island. The shared kitchen offered opportunities to connect with fellow travellers, and the porch is the best spot for sun sets. Another great reason to stay is Tofino Sea Kayaking in the same building. They offer several great excursions!

Was really excited to visits paddlers inn with my brothers. We arrived in the evening after a very long ride and was so happy to settle down at the paddlers inn. After dinner we took a moment to walk down to the little bay at the bottom of the property to watch the sun set and have beer 🍺 with my brothers who I havnt seen for 9years. About an hour into the out evening we was visited by a man who was called JOHN I’ve never met a more of a narcissistic individual in my life. He was unbelievably rude and told us that we didn’t belong here which was a little confusing as we paid a lot of money to stay there clearly didn’t like English folk. We tried calming him down but we realized JOHN wasn’t a well man. We disused to retire and head to bed early which was upsetting as the sunset was fantastic. The next day he said how was your sleep with a nasty smile on his face. At this point I considered giving him a slap 👋 and educating him on how to be a good host but I did the opposite and walked away. He was rude to his coffee customers and staff. Too. How he has a job is beyond me. Who ever owns this place I advise you to take action on JOHN. I’ve never gone out of my way to write a review until now.

To the owner you have a beautiful spot and very cool. Don’t let JOHN ruin it for you

The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We spent 4 nights at the Paddler’s Inn. The rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are clean and tidy. The view of the sea is breathtaking. There is no better way to wake up in the morning.
The shop's terrace can be used by guests at any time, even after opening hours. Highly recommended, especially at sunset.
From arrival to departure a successful stay with super nice staff!
The kayak tours, which Paddlers also offers, are particularly recommended!

We had such a great experience with The Paddler’s Inn. The room was funky but not fancy (exactly what you would expect for the price). Everything was super clean, the staff and owner was extremely helpful/pleasant. The coffee was great, made better by the phenomenal view. Can’t recommend enough

Honestly, the price and location are amazing for Tofino. The staff are helpful, the owner was very nice and on the property often. The shared amenities are decent, and the room we stayed in was clean and roomy. The complimentary coffee and patio downstairs were top notch. Our only downfall was the noise from 11pm-3am coming from the bar/club across the street as it was a weekend when we stayed over. Earplugs were provided and appreciated, but we didn't know about the issue in advance.

The Tofino Paddler's Inn was a lovely family owned accommodation. Located right beside the coastal waters, we had a perfect view of the mountains and ocean from their cozy patio (blankets provided). Free coffee was also available by the partnering café downstairs as well as discounts off their Bakery items.

The kitchen and bathrooms were shared spaces and it was a very clever idea to seperate the downstairs shower from the downstairs sink/toilet to avoid any lines with other guests forming for the upstairs bathroom.

The beds were very comfortable and earplugs were also provided if you didn't want to hear the club go-ers 2/3 blocks away. The only missing item was a tall/floor length mirror.

Overall, my best friend and I had a great Tofino experience and would likely come back.

The place is beautiful and quite cozy! The kitchen faces the water and it'ss absolutely gorgeous. The owner is a very pleasant person to talk to. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
